Team Members

Narrative Intelligence uses a role-based access system. Everyone who works on your programme — from co-admins to volunteer reviewers — gets an invitation with a specific role that determines what they can see and do.

Full access to everything. Admins can:

  • Create and configure cohorts
  • Generate and edit application forms
  • Invite and manage team members
  • Approve and reject submissions
  • Access billing and settings

There’s no limit on how many admins a programme can have. The person who creates the programme is automatically its first admin.

Reviewers can view and decide on applications, but they can’t change programme settings or manage the team.

Reviewers can:

  • View all submissions and reports
  • Approve and reject applications

Reviewers cannot:

  • Edit cohort settings or forms
  • Invite or manage other team members
  • Access billing

Use this role for: external evaluators, selection panel members, or anyone who needs to review applications but shouldn’t have access to your programme settings.

Read-only access. Viewers can see submissions and reports but cannot take any action on them.

Use this role for: stakeholders, funders, or board members who need visibility into the programme without involvement in decisions.

A distinct role for people who will be mentoring accepted founders. Mentors have a separate view — they see only the founders assigned to them, not the full submission pipeline.

See Mentors for more on how the mentor role works.

Go to Members in the sidebar, then click Invite Member.

  1. Enter the person’s email address
  2. Select their role
  3. Click Send Invite

An invitation email is sent to them immediately. The link in the email is valid for 7 days.

After sending an invite, you’ll see it in the Members list with one of these statuses:

Status Meaning
Pending The invitation email was sent but hasn’t been accepted yet
Accepted The person has accepted the invite and has access
Revoked Access has been removed

Find the team member in the Members list and click Edit Role. Select the new role and confirm.

To remove someone’s access, click Revoke next to their name in the Members list. Their access is removed immediately, but the membership record is kept — you can reinstate them later if needed.

To reinstate a revoked member, click Reinstate next to their name.

If an invitation was sent but hasn’t been accepted, you can:

  • Resend the invite — sends a fresh email with the same invitation
  • Revoke the invite — cancels it so the link no longer works

Find these options in the Members list next to any member with Pending status.
